VP Sales and BD

We are hiring a VP who is responsible for developing and executing a sales and business development strategy that drives revenue growth and expands the company’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales and business development strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives, and drives revenue growth across all product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Lead the sales team in meeting and exceeding revenue targets by setting clear performance metrics, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Develop and manage the sales and BD budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support sales and business development initiatives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and work closely with the product development team to bring new products and services to market that meet the needs of the company’s customers.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to inform the company’s sales and business development strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build the company’s brand and expand its network of contacts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute a sales and business development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
